New book: "Tech-Stiles"
The book "Tech-Stiles", and the exhibition by the same name, shows the results of the artistic research project "Future Textiles" by Professor Hilde Hauan Johnsen, Associate Professor Jon Pettersen and Assistant Professor Ingrid Aarset. Rector Paula Crabtree and Professor in Research and Development, Søren Kjørup, are among the contributors in the book.

Launch of artistic research project "Re:place"
The artistic research project "Re:place" explores "place" through a series of different artistic projects as well as discursive events. In connection with the "Re:place" startup seminar, Jeremy Welsh and Scott Rettberg will be opening an exhibition in Rom 8 on 5 October at 6pm, featuring a range of works in video, sound, photography and text.

Frans Jacobi: Exhibition and Public Defense of PhD
"Aesthetics of Resistance: An investigation into performative politics of contemporary activism" is the title of Professor Frans Jacobi's doctoral dissertiation at Malmö Art Academy, Lund University which took place on 5 December. The exhibition is open until 21 December.
Forum on sound, multiplicity and radical listening
Brandon LaBelle, Professor in New Media, organises the "Dirty Ear Forum" on sound, multiplicity and radical listening from 18 till 20 January in Berlin. An exhibition presenting the results will be open in the period 27 January - 3 February.

Annette and Caroline Kierulf in new publication from Bergen Kunsthall
In spring 2012, Bergen Kunsthall presented the group exhibition "Brannon, Büttner, Kierulf, Kierulf, Kilpper", with professor Annette Kierulf and Assistant Professor Caroline Kierulf. The exhibition catalogue is now published in a richly illustrated, sophisticated magazine format.
"Tech-Stiles" in Tromsø
The exhibition "Tech-Stiles", with works of Professor Hilde Hauan Johnsen, Associate Professor Jon Pettersen and Assistant Professor Ingrid Aarset, opens at Nordnorsk kunstmuseum on 13 October 2012 at 2 pm. The exhibition continues through 20 January 2013. "Tech-Stiles" was also the opening exhibition at the new Sogn og Fjordane kunstmuseum from 8 - 29 September.
