KHiB alumni Azar Alsharif with exhibition in Rom8
On 19 April Azar Alsharif opens her exhibition "Knowledge Is Faithful" in Rom8 in Vaskerelven 8 in Bergen. Alsharif graduated with a BA in Fine Art from KHiB in 2011. The exhibition is on until 23 April 2012.
Azar Alsharif has had a studio space at USF Verftet since she graduated as part of a collaboration between KHiB and USF Verftet. The exhibition Knowledge Is Faithful presents the results of various projects Alsharif has been working on during the winter and spring 2012. Her projects include photographed pictures, collage, constructed text and sculpture.
Azar Alsharif (b.1984) holds a BA degree from KHiB. She works and lives in Bergen. Knowledge Is Faithful is her second solo show. She has had exhibitions in several galleries, among others Galleri F15, 1857, One Night Only, Holodeck, Bergen Kjøtt, Volt and Fotogalleriet. In april Objektiv #5 will be launched where she contributes with a fanzine, and in summar 2012 she will have an exhibition in Bunker 19 during Hovefestivalen.
