
KHiB-students to show prototypes at Furniture Fair in New York
Five bachelorstudents in design have been chosen to present their prototypes of furniture objects at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York from 19 to 22 May 2012.

The students have been picked out by famous editor of design
magazine Metropolis, Paul J. Makovsky. The event is staged
by Federation of Norwegian Industries in collaboration with the
Norwegian Embassy in Washington.
- It's great that our BA students will be exposed at such an
important international arena, says Professor Dave Vikøren at the
Dept of Design. He has followed several of the students closely and
is proud of what they have achieved.
The exhibitiors are:

- Lars Beller Fjetland
- Martin Rygner
- Natasha B Crona
- Silje Nesdal
In addition, former KHiB-students Morten Knarrum and Jonas
Nordheim of the Design Incubator in Bergen will also be presenting
their works.
Many of the students have allready shown their work at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2012.
About the ICFF
The International Contemporary Furniture Fair hosts over 500
exhibitors from 30 countries at The Javits Center in New York. They
are expecting over 25 000 visitors in the three-day long opening
period.
