The comitee for teaching enviroment at KHiB
The comitee for teaching enviroment at KHiB (Norwegian: Læringsmiljøutvalget) plan and execute actions concerning the student safety and well-beeing in all class and workshop situations. The comitee has four elected student representatives and meet regulary with school leadership represented by Head of Academic Affairs, Head of Human Resource, President (Rector) and Assistant to the President (Deputy Rector).

Ingen sykler inne i gangene eller på arbeidsplasser
Mange studenter benytter sykler til og fra kunsthøgskolen, og det er bra. Men de må ikke tas med innendørs og parkeres i gangareal eller korridorer. Dette er rømningsveier og det er alvorlig for sikkerheten for stab og studenter om disse blir sperret! Dette problemet er spesielt gjeldende ved Avd. kunstakademiet i C. Sundts gate 53.
NB! Det er heller ikke lov å oppbevare sykler inne på egen arbeidsplass/atelier.
Please do not bring bicycles inndoors and park them in hallways. These corridors are designated exscape routes, and the safety of staff and students could be compromised if fire exits are blocked. This applies especially to the Dept. of fine art in C. Sundts gate 53 where this has been a problem lately. This also means you cannot keep your bicycle at your workspace.
